In early November 2025 the SkyBill team travelled from Riga to Poznań, Poland, for Directions EMEA, one of the key events in the Microsoft Dynamics partner calendar. Here is a short recap of their three days at the conference.

Highlights
Keynotes focused on AI, Copilot and agents in Business Central, an ecosystem now reaching around 50,000 customers.
Plenty of time to reconnect with European partners over coffee, lunch and evening meetups.
A memorable keynote moment with a plush penguin waiting on every seat.
An afterparty right next to the venue with live music, food and games.
Three days in Poznań
Day 1: Finding the gate
The team registered the evening before to skip the morning queues, yet still ended up on an unplanned 30 minute walk around the venue looking for the right entrance. Inside, the sessions centred on AI, Copilot and the growth of the Business Central ecosystem, and the day closed with an evening reception and partner meetups.
Day 2: Agents, Copilots and penguins
Free public transport badges made getting around easy. The keynote opened with hundreds of ERP professionals facing hundreds of plush penguins, followed by technical sessions and partner strategy talks. The afterparty that evening was compared very favourably with the previous edition in Lyon.
Day 3: The final day
Attendance stayed strong on the last morning. One session looked at Gen Z, AI and generational dynamics at work, and the programme wrapped up around 4 p.m., leaving time to head home tired, happy and inspired.
Reflections
Excellent organisation, useful content and good networking in a friendly atmosphere. As a utility billing and CIS solution built on Dynamics 365 Business Central, SkyBill sees Directions as an important meeting point with the wider ecosystem, and the team is already planning to be back.
