SkyBill in Bangkok

We started offering the SkyBill solution worldwide in November 2016. Up until then, it had been available only to utility providers here in our local market. A lot has changed since. Today we have clients in Canada, New Zealand, and Namibia, along with several ongoing projects in other parts of the world, including Ireland, Kosovo, and the United Kingdom.

SkyBill is a strong fit for utility providers, energy retailers, property managers, and similar businesses, and demand for it keeps growing. At the same time, there are still many companies in this sector that could work far more efficiently and cut costs simply by moving to a modern billing solution like ours. Reaching those companies is exactly why we started looking beyond our usual channels.

When we came across the Global Utility Series, we decided to take part and introduce our product directly to the utility specialists who attend these exhibitions. Our first event was Asian Utility Week in Bangkok. It was a real challenge for us, from the travel and the new audience to presenting our solution in an unfamiliar market, but the overall experience turned out to be very positive. It gave us valuable conversations, useful feedback, and a clear sense that there is real interest in what we do. That is why we went on to pre-register for almost every Global Utility Series event in 2017 and 2018.
